Spring Sandals from Target I’m Loving Right Now
If you’re anything like me, spring is the season where you want your outfit to feel easy, but still pulled together. And for me, that always starts with sandals. I’m a neutral-sandal girl through and through: they’re stylish, timeless, and go with basically everything in my closet. Plus, since I work from home and live in casual wear most days, I lean hard into flat sandals or a low heel, the kind that can take you from daytime errands (or school pickup) to dinner without regretting your life choices.
Here’s what I’m shopping for (and wearing) right now, and the trends I’m actually
excited about.
When I’m scrolling, I’m looking for sandals that check at least two of these boxes:
Neutral color palette (tan, cream, taupe, black,
“barely there” nude)Comfort-first design (soft footbed, secure straps,
easy slip-on)Low heel or flat (because real life)
Day-to-night vibe (cute with leggings and a dress)

The trends to look for this season
1) Leopard print (because it never really leaves). Leopard is one of those prints that somehow counts as a “neutral” in my mind. It adds personality without feeling loud, and it always comes back around in a big way. If you want to shop this vibe at Target, try searching “leopard sandals” and you’ll see a range of options that feel wearable (not costume-y). How I’d style it: all-black outfit + leopard sandal = instantly styled. Or keep it super springy with a white tee + light denim.
2) Mesh detail = the “trendy girl” shoe. Mesh details are giving light, modern, and a little elevated, especially in neutrals. If you want to try a trend without committing to bold colors, mesh is the move because it still feels minimal. How I’d style it: wide-leg pants + a fitted tee or tank + mesh flats/low heel. Easy, current, and still comfy.
3) Woven sandals = instant spring/summer energy. Woven textures just scream warm weather. They feel vacation-ready even when you’re just grabbing coffee. Bonus points if the weave is a little open/see-through, it gives that airy look that works with everything from denim shorts to breezy dresses. Target has a whole stream of woven sandal options you can browse by searching “woven sandal” or “woven sandals women.” How I’d style it: linen pants + a simple tank + woven slides. Or a casual midi dress + woven flat = effortless.
4) Jelly shoes (the comeback you can wear poolside and out). Jellies are back, but the versions I’m into now feel more “cute summer sandal” than throwback costume. They’re perfect for spring break, pool days, beach trips, and all those summer moments when you want something that can handle water (or kids) and still look fun. If you want to see what’s out there, try searching “jelly sandals women” or “jellies sandals.” How I’d style it: denim cutoffs + oversized button-down. Or a simple cotton dress + jellies for an easy vacation look.
