Why I Started Eve the Girl Mom
Welcome to Eve the Girl Mom
This blog is a reflection of my life as a girl mom, colorful, active, imperfect, and full of heart. I’m so glad you’re here.
I didn’t start Eve the Girl Mom because I had parenting all figured out. I started it because I didn’t. I’m raising two daughters with big personalities, big feelings, and even bigger energy. They’re active, expressive, and completely themselves, and every day, they remind me that motherhood isn’t about doing things perfectly, but about showing up intentionally.
When I looked online for motherhood content, so much of it felt extreme. Either perfectly curated or overly restrictive. Clean living that felt overwhelming. Parenting advice that came with pressure instead of support. That’s not real life. I shop at places we already go. I make intentional choices where I can. I believe that doing a little better still matters, whether that’s cleaner food swaps, thoughtful fashion choices, or slowing down enough to listen to my kids. This space isn’t about perfection. It’s about balance.
Raising Girls Who Feel Good Being Themselves
One of the biggest reasons I started this blog is because I’m raising girls. Girls who are watching how I talk about myself. Girls who notice how I make decisions. Girls who are learning what confidence looks like in real time.
I want them to grow up knowing that: their voices matter, their bodies deserve care, not criticism, their choices don’t need to look like anyone else’s. Whether it’s what they wear, what they eat, or how they move through the world, I want them to feel empowered, not pressured.
Clean Living, But Make It Livable
Clean living is important to me because I’ve seen the impact it’s had on my own health, my skin, my gut, my energy, and my overall well-being. But clean living doesn’t mean cutting everything out or living in fear of ingredients. It means: reading labels, asking better questions, making informed swaps, staying realistic. I created Eve the Girl Mom as a place to share what I’m learning without judgment, guilt, or extremes.
Who This Space Is For
This space is for moms raising daughters with strong personalities. Parents who want to make informed choices without feeling overwhelmed. Families who value intention just as much as practicality. Anyone who believes confidence starts at home. If you’re looking for perfection, this probably isn’t the place. But if you’re looking for honesty, balance, and a little encouragement along the way, welcome.
